ST. JOHN’S, Antigua (December 22, 2022)—Governor General Sir Rodney Williams on Thursday issued the Writs of Election, which were duly published in The Antigua and Barbuda Official Gazette, making official January 18, 2023 as Election Day across the twin-island nation.
The Writ for each of the 17 constituencies is published on pages 3-25 of The Gazette, specifying, along with the date of the election, Nomination Day on December 28, 2022, and authorizing the 17 returning officers, who have taken the Oath for Election Officers, to conduct elections in each of the 17 constituencies.
